We’ve Started Somewhere

In the early phase of this blog, I spoke about February’s Favourite. Recently, it was registered under Udyam as a micro enterprise / sole proprietorship. So now, officially, we are an MSME.

I’ve brought together a team of 10 members:

• Saurabh Yadav – Head of Artists & Repertoire

• Dhaivat Aarambh – Music Academy

• Edgevin Vihan Co. – Dance Company

• Sahil Kumar – Music Producer & Engineer

• Tannu Kaushik – Backend Developer

• Juhi Bhardwaj – Chartered Accountant

• Hrishita singh - Social media handler

And finally, me —
Siva – Artist / Founder / Sound Engineer

As a small welcome gesture, I created “Welcome to the Team” photo frames and February’s Favourite logo keychains for everyone. The official invoices, stamps and letterheads are also ready.

The website is currently under development and is expected to go live around January.

Our first project as a company was Bombay Diaries, where we handled the complete sound work.

The objective is to cover everything related to music, we want it to be a place where the possibility of music is limitless - teaching, events, certifications, music publishing, production, engineering, listening platform, podcasts, music instruments.

We’re already looking forward to our next project in January—at a new venue, with a new set of songs, and something new once again.

I’m also preparing to release my own songs in the coming year. The direction and timing will be guided by my guru.

There’s still a lot for me to learn—sound engineering, the music business, marketing, and of course, singing.

But I think I can say that:
we’ve started somewhere, and we’ll reach somewhere.
